The S. C. Patel Centre for De-addiction and Mental Health has a sound foundation since 1984, which was established by Dr. Yogesh Patel (MD Psy) to bring together and network the skills of scientists and clinicians working on many different aspects of addictions and mental health. The centre has been sponsored by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India.
