Begun in 1992 as a drug awareness counselling centre, the centre became a full fledged deaddiction centre in 2000, with 13 beds. This centre provides residential rehabilitation for its patients and is very serious about helping their patients recover from addiction. Red Cross Faridkot is quite involved in the city, providing deaddiction camps, awareness seminars, camps and rallies informing the public on the dangers of drug and alcohol addiction and spreading the message of recovery.
