We, at Rama Foundation Mumbai Drug & Alcohol Rehabilitation Center have been working for this good social cause, and since its inception in the year 2001, we have treated patients not only from Delhi but from other states namely Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Maharashtra and states from the North East as well.
Rama Foundation Mumbai Drug & Alcohol Rehabilitation Center began its journey in Delhi based on this experience has now put its step in the State of Maharashtra, Badlapur, Indhgaon West. The reason we chose Badlapur as our next destination firstly as its natural greenery and healthy environment secondly all modes of Govt. Transport are available from Mumbai and its surrounding areas, thirdly availability of good experienced Doctors, Psychologists and Hospitals are available in the city.
A combination of grit, determination, dedication and the selfless efforts of Mr Sanjay Mathur, Founder saw the birth of this therapeutic healing center, a long and fulfilled wish of his parents, late Mrs Rama Mathur and late
Mr H P Mathur and now has decided to expand this humble cause with the support of Mr Vikram. R. Mehta a businessman by profession and an active member of Rotary International.

The Rama Foundation offers treatment to drug and alcohol addicts in an ideal setting. The centre is located on a 9 acre plot of green and comfortable land. Patients enjoy air conditioned rooms, TV, indoor and outdoor games, and a cosmopolitan vegetarian or non-vegetarian diet. Rama’s treatment model is based heavily on 12 Steps. Rama uses a variety of other treatment methods, including group and recreational therapy.
Rama Foundation in Mumbai was started in 2010 with help from the Rama Centre in New Delhi. The experience that the Delhi Centre provided an excellent foundation. In just a short time, Rama has become a successful centre helping many addicts.
