AIIMS’ NDDTC was originally established in 1988 in New Delhi. In 2003, the centre moved to its current location in Ghaziabad. This centre treats around 7400 new patients every year. Patients are treated for wide variety of disorders including all substances, alcohol, dual diagnosis, and tobacco cessation. The staff at NDDTC use a variety of methods including medically assisted and drug-free treatment. Research is constantly being done to ensure the methods being used are the most effective.
