Navchetna Sansthan is a Non-Government Organization in India established in Rudrapur, Udham Singh Nagar (UTTARAKHAND) in 2011. It is an in-house care treatment center for alcoholics, addicts, substance abusers and chemical dependants. It has been established with a vision to serve those who need special attention, care, treatment and need special guidance & counseling. It has a holistic approach to treatment with recovery especially focused on four parts – physical, mental, social, and spiritual.
The treatment model is based on 12 Steps of Alcoholics Anonymous (A.A.) / Narcotics Anonymous (N.A.). In addition, self-help groups with yoga and meditation, further enhanced by motivational, inter-personnel and recreational therapies help the alcoholic/addict come out of their addictive, self-destructive personalities and bring back joy in their life as well as those around him.
Our program is well structured providing an all-round atmosphere for learning, self-discovery, analysis and planning for the road ahead. Psychology sessions, an integral part of the program, is aimed at getting to know an alcoholic/addict better and hence getting a better chance to fix himself. Visits from motivational guest speakers add to the morale of the recovering alcoholic/addict.
The well competent staff comprises of full-time professionals, counselors as well as faithful volunteers who themselves have gained freedom from the clutches of dreadful addiction.
