Sahara Recovery Center is a welfare oriented service providing de-addiction centre. These services are flexible, responsive to the needs of the community, and tend to fulfill an important gap that exists in meeting the basic minimum needs of the community.
Treatment of drug addicts is essential for prevention and control of the drug abuse. Since there are wide and varied factors responsible for drug addiction, therefore it is very difficult to advocate any single treatment method for the purpose. Treatment methods devised from time to time to tackle drug addiction can be classified under clinical and non-clinical methods. Clinical dilemma emerges when we consider the pharmacological treatment of drug abuse. Non-clinical methods include preventive measures like motivation, family therapy, yoga etc.
Duration of Treatment
The duration of the treatment programme is normally 31 days. This could vary from 31 or more days depending on the case and his response to the treatment

Diagnose and Assessment of Drug use problems, Food and Accommodation, AC Rooms and CC Cameras, Psychosocial intervention, Detoxification, Psychotherapy, Individual counseling, Family counseling, Group Therapy, 12 Step Programme, Yoga and Meditation, Interreligious prayer and Follow up and Home visits.
Program objectives
Due to a devastating loss of self-esteem and confidence these alcoholics and addicts are unable to perform many tasks. At Path to Freedom we provide a structured environment which rebuilds self-esteem and confidence. By the time a client leaves here he has regained the life skills needed to succeed in the real world. This along with the A.A. program gives back a whole person to society. At Path to Freedom we offer a 31 day’s program in which clients are given a structured environment with restrictions designed to enhance their experience and encourage them to work on their recovery. As well, some household tasks are assigned to each to build self-discipline in their daily lives. We diligently maintain an environment that is drug and alcohol free.
